The underground gas storage project began with a comprehensive Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) study and transitioned seamlessly through detailed engineering, construction support, and commissioning. Designed to expand operational capacity, enhance system reliability, and position the facility for future growth, the project included major electrical system upgrades, tank pad commissioning, and a detailed evaluation of the flare system. Two Motor Control Centers (MCCs) were modernized, while LDIS provided ongoing operational support to ensure uninterrupted performance. Disciplines included process engineering (P&IDs, simulations, FEED documentation), piping (line lists, 3D modeling, isometric drawings), structural (tank foundations with geotechnical investigation), electrical (arc flash study, layouts, design packages), instrumentation & controls (I/O lists, control design, as-built integration), and procurement (equipment selection and vendor engagement). The result was a fully integrated, safety-focused, and scalable upgrade to meet both current and future demands.
