Jon Benson

Mr. Benson joined LDIS in 2018. He is a registered professional Mechanical Engineer and has spent his career focusing his expertise in piping design and piping engineering.  He has an advanced knowledge of piping materials and Codes and Standards for the Oil & Gas industry, including the ASME piping codes, and ASTM, MSS and API standards.  He is fluent in CADWorx and specializes in pipe specification development and managing the pipe specification data base in CADWorx Spec Editor. He and his 20+ person design team are well versed in 3D piping design for upstream and midstream oil & gas processing facilities, pipeline design, compressor stations, pipeline interconnects, mining facilities, water & oil pump stations, modular skid and modular pipe rack design, P&ID as-builts and laser scanning services.
